This is a 1/64 (scalable to other scales) scale model of the M108 Self-propelled howitzer US army gun. Designed by the United States, this self-propelled howitzer serves as the basis for the largest and most prolific family of Western indirect-fire support weapons in existence. With production beginning in 1963 and ending in 1972, the M109 brought forth over a dozen variants, allowing it to remain an integral piece for military groups all over the world. With an extensive service record, the vehicle has faced combat in Southeast and Western Asia and Northern Africa.
