This adapter (latest version 4.1) is the basis for my mUAV, which is being documented on RotorBuilds: https://rotorbuilds.com/build/20987 It uses a 12Ga wire with crimped spade connectors (un-insulated with heat shrink worked for me, but a really tight crimp on insulated connectors can fit too) run through the back. Equivalent to a 5S, M18 provides a quick way to swap batteries without the need for special battery chargers, while maintaining applicability to other tools. Recommend Nylon prints. I did PETG for the first flight test version, which broke after a tough crash. Designed with countersunk slots for flathead M3 bolts with 20mm and 30.5mm hole spacing common with most aerial vehicles today. It also has 45x39mm hole spacing used on my "Chenobyl" frame. A pair of these mounted to a skateboard/longboard would be sweet too. There are two optional prints, which can be used to direct the wires out the back. One directs the wire up, while the other holds them down. An M3x5mm threaded inserts on the back helps keep it in place (soldering iron insert method).
