M2 Electronic Enclosure Hatch Latch

M2 Electronic Enclosure Hatch Latch

thingiverse

The Makergear M2 electronics enclosure is a beautiful black box that uses no hardware. The lid slips into place but is not locked down. I designed a latch that locks into a slot in the side of the box with a quarter turn, no hardware or drilling holes. update, I've added a bevel to help with clearance issues between the box and Z axis Instructions I printed this thing in PLA using .25mm layers at 20% infill (standard settings) on an M2. I ran the STL through Netfab so it is clean and ready to slice. The latch will fit through the center slot on the left side of the enclosure horizontally, rotate it a quarter turn and then slide it up to catch the lid. update, I've added a bevel to help with clearance issues between the box and Z axis You'll need to print the newer version with support under this bevel and use a knife to clean it up.
