M3-M4-M5 Tap Guide - Laser Cut Acrylic

M3-M4-M5 Tap Guide - Laser Cut Acrylic

thingiverse

This is a small tap guide made from 3mm and 5mm acrylic sheets. The base is 5mm and all others 3mm. I alternated colors and clear and you do what you want. The base has QTY (4) 2.2mm holes, they will need to be tapped to M3. I stacked the layers and slid a drill bit through the center hole to keep it aligned when tapping the base...use the guide to tap itself...pretty cool :) Assemble it with M3x20mm screws of your choice...I used Button Heads. I intentionally put the M5 hole in the middle as it was the largest of the three and required the most stability when tapping. I have attached both DXF and PDF files. Have fun, MakerSL
