This is my submission to the mechanical marvels contest. These components all work in design. However I have not been able to 3D print them and test them in the real world. I live in Mexico and don't have access to filament down here. I only get filament when I travel to the states which isn't to often. I am sure this doesn't work first try but because of lack of time due to the short 15 day notice when I joined the contest and I also am still in highschool, and because I don't have filament I wasn't able to 3d print anything and test it. I do plan on finishing this design however one I get filament, and making the design changes necessary. This does require two Bearings with out diameter of 10mm and inner of 5mm. It also requires a 9.5mm Metal marble. The Arm uses a counter weight which could be a coin, and once the marble falls into it the arm engages with the gear. So this step is important. Once again due to various issues and time constraints I wasn't able to get this design to the point I wanted it for this competition. If anything right now its only cool to look at.

This has been fun to design and I will definitely finish this design and get it to the point where its print and play. Unfortunately this first revision I was unable to do that. However I learned so much while working on this project and as I keep revising it I am sure a will learn a lot more.

Some Pieces in this first iteration won't fit because I don't have the time to make all the special clearances and holes and mounting plates. This design is 80% done. All that's left is the revising and testing. But like I have said many times I frankly just did not have the time. But I hope that people at least enjoy this idea and are looking forward to the final design coming out. Hopefully it should be out sometime in the next month but my schedule is cram packed so I don't think that is likely.
