M300 Quadcopter

M300 Quadcopter

cults3d

A 300 sized quadcopter for 3D printing. This quad has been designed for use with 6" props and a Q-brain esc. You don't have to use a Q-Brain, but it integrates into the frame nicely and cleans up the wiring without a power distribution board. Arms are unique and carry 2 motors each, which increases strength and simplifies body attachment. I didn't bother to design a recording camera mount at this point because I don't want the extra weight/cost and my Dominator googles have a built in DVR. An easy top plate mod if I change my mind. Note: Added "split frame" file for those with less than an 10" bed. Post printing gluing required. BOM: Printed parts (see instructions) Electronics: Flight Controller with side pins such as a CC3D Rx such as X6R ESC such as Q-Brain 4x20 or 4x25, 4S capable Low Battery Buzzer Motors with 16x19 bolt pattern, 2204/06/08 sized, 1900-2300kV XT60 female for ESC to Q-brain power leads 2mm bullet connectors for Q-Brain to motors x12 Battery, 1300-2200mah, 4S, XT60 connector x2-6 Camera, 25x25 board in case (or smaller) VTx, such as fatshark 250mW or 600mW Googles such as Fatshark Dominators (with Rx module & batteries) Antenna such as fatshark spironet or bluebeam ultra (pair needed) Radio such as taranis X9D+ Battery charger such as IMAX B6 Hardware m3x45mm hex bolts x12 M3x40mm hex bolts x6 + spares (landing legs) M3x8mm for motors x16 M3x10mm for camera x1 M3x16-20mm for RX holder M3 nyloc nuts x20 M3 washers x26 Household elastics to hold motor wires, could also just tape them Velcro strips (my preference for all electronic except FC) Velcro strap for battery Foam or gel pad for flight controller (optional) Shrink Wrap for wiring and holding Rx antenna Other: Props! 6030 if you are starting out (still can really move!) 6040 or 6045 otherwise M5 nyloc nuts and washers for props (unless you have multi direction threads or a different size mount)
