M4 Vest

M4 Vest

thingiverse

This vest is compatible with the OpenBCI M4 Ultracortex system. This was created initially as an aesthetic complement to the starkly functional-looking M4 headset. It can (hypothetically) accommodate adjustable spring-loaded dry electrodes for bio-measurement. The vest applies the same design method to create node arrays that hold threaded inserts, which are printed flat and glued in. I've included the inserts and bolts in this listing. Two hundred and twenty inserts are needed to fill all nodes. The threaded insert can then hold the adjustable "Octabolt" which can hold a sensor or electrode. The inserts are needed where a section boundary passes through the nodes in order to join the sections, but are otherwise only needed if you actually intend to populate the node with a bolt. For the bolts to be functional, they would require springs and electrodes (non 3D-printed) as described in the OpenBCI documentation.
