This adapter clamps onto the dovetail of a Wild M400 series macroscope and gives female M42 threads, allowing you to use a range of adapters to attach whatever infinity-corrected objectives you please (pictured with an m42-m26 adapter and a USMC 10x objective). The M400 series heads have a non-compensating 200mm tube lens so they can be used with infinity Nikon, Olympus and Mitutoyo/Mitutoyo clone objectives.
