26.21mm is the flange distance offset between M42 45.46mm and Micro Four Thirds 19.25mm. This adapter will give you full focus. It fits very tight. The knurling should give you a good grip. Paint it flat black on the inside at least. First prototype worked but would spin inside the camera and not lock. New version has precise Micro Four Thirds flange with slot for locking tab. ID has been threaded to reduce light reflections.
