This is the model M4A3E2 "Jumbo" Sherman, the beefed up version of the M4A3. The print in the picture is decaled up as "Cobra King" which led the force that relieved Bastogne in the Battle of the Bulge. I modified m_bergman's original M4A3 to add the extra glacis and side armor, and the thickened turret and wider tracks. Print Settings Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.1 Infill: 15% Notes: Printed hull with supports and no raft. Tracks can be printed with or without support. Print turret with raft and support. Post-Printing Clean up with sanding sticks. Assemble with CA glue. How I Designed This Bergman's M4A3 modified in blender. For the turret, I used the 76mm turret, along with a combination of scaling and boolean operations to make the thicker armor. I also replaced the longer 76 mm gun with the shorter barreled 75 mm gun. For the hull I created armor plates and used boolean ops to apply them to the hull. I stretched the tracks to make them wider to match the actual tanks. All in all it looked pretty good as printed, but I think the tracks and turret still need a little work. I hope the photos do justice to the quality and detail of m_bergman's 1-100 models - they look great.
