I had a need to develop this part for my prusa i3 Z axis (printed in black pla, see photos). The purpose is to provide support to the top end of an m5 lead screw and hold the unsupported tip in line with the standard prusa i3 Z motor mounts .This simple bracket is intended to be used with the box frame designs and is fastened with #8 x 3/4" wood screws. Right and left side parts are mirror image. Print Settings Printer: prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 3mm layers Infill: 20% Notes: The part is not structural and can be printed with light infill to save material. Post-Printing As with most inside diameter holes, these print a little bit tight. Prior to installation, it will be a benefit to true the holes with a drill bit.
