I'm building a reprap Wilson II printer, and I realized I don't have any t-slot M5 nut which are required, and I can't find any at the local stores... I decided to make them in plastic, even though I didn't have high expectations for them, they proved to be surprisingly strong and good enough for my needs. There is no threading in the hole, a little pressure and a screwdriver will do the work. I did a traction test with a portable luggage scale, and I reached 30Kg traction on both the PLA and nylon versions (simple design, not ridged) without anything to move (as on the picture, picture taken after the tests). Traction was done at ~30 and 45° from the vertical axis (axis of the screw). I didn't try more traction as I got very close to hurt myself badly during the test... Disclaimer: I take no responsability for any accident related to the use of this design, it's your responsability to test it and decide if it's suitable for your use. Long term testing hasn't been done. Note: For the nylon version print at 101% size to compensate for shrinkage. 3 versions are provided: Simple version (as tested above) Ridged version (should be a little stronger, but a little more difficult to print due to lower surface adhesion on the bed) Ridged version, 8 pieces with 0.1mm raft: 8 pieces together with a small 0.1mm raft which can be easily hand cut after print, useful to print the ridged version in Nylon, make sure you have a layer height
