M5 to M8 Ball Bearing Spacer

M5 to M8 Ball Bearing Spacer

For the KMXS tensioners (which work incredibly well) you need to have a spacer which converts the M5 bolt (which is the highest size bolt that will fit through the holes in the spacer) into something that the M8 ball bearing can fit around. This spacer is exactly the right length for the ball bearing and is a press fit into the inside of the ball bearing. You may need to thread the M5 through it after you have inserted it into the ball bearing and the ball bearing into the tensioner. This can be a bit tricky because you will notice that the ball bearing just wants to turn the whole time and therefore the bolt will not thread. This is easily solved by just pinching the tensioner so that it clamps down on the ball bearing and then threading the bolt through. Once installed with the tensioners your print quality WILL improve.
