A minimal approach to mounting a fan on some M8 threaded rod. If you have spare length of rod, it's worth manually bending the supports slightly immediately after printing to fit the rod exactly while its still slightly warm. The fan can be attached with an M3 bolt and nut. If the nut wont quite go into the slot heat it using a soldering iron to ease it in.
