Mac Classic

Having used Apple computers all my life starting with a //e I felt like I needed to print SOMETHING to honor Steve Jobs. Based on http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=4b3607f3cde3037658fc1ad354006c7 I modified that to make it more printable, scaled it to size, and added the classic apple logo to the front of the screen. I'm skeining it right now to see how it prints. Enjoy A few hours later....Print is going, I've edited the file several times to tweak some details. Every member of the original Macintosh team had their signatures injection molded on the inside of the cases of some of the computers. I've added my twist on that as a memorial to the members of that team that are no longer with us, flip the computer over and you'll find their initials. Jef Raskin, Brian Howard, and Steve Jobs rest in peace. Instructions I've added another file "Mac Classic Support.stl" this one has two support walls under the lower overhang that should help the print. I also added a mouse cable to link the two objects together. The object as a whole is 87x111x83 so it should fit on a thing-o-matic without scaling. I printed this with 0 infill and a few extra shells, make sure that you have infill set to 45 degrees so that when it prints the top surfaces the bridges come out better. The very top works with 0 infill because its slightly pitched so it doesn’t try to cover the whole thing at once. My first print of this didn’t come out all that great (mostly because my prusa isn't working as well as it should). I'm hoping to have time to print the new version soon.
