The screw for the mechanical piece takes an allan key and is accessible from the bottom panel of the grinder. If you have the automatic-off switch, which detects coffee in the doser with a paddle, you need remove the switch from the paddle assembly (which you will not be using) and tuck it inside the grinder. Removing the switch itself will disable the grinder. Use aluminium foil, as shown, to line the new doser cone. This will enable coffee to slide off onto your portafilter. Use bits of rubber bands to shim the cone so that it does not fall off while grinding. Lastly, keep a brush handy to clean the shoot after each shot you grind!
