Given the current state of Thingiverse, **Downloads broken, Thingview broken**, I recommend to visit the [thing on prusaPrinters](https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/87563-macbook-air-stand-v2) to check on it or download it. ___ The use case for this stand is to hold the laptop up on my chest while I lie in bed and avoid getting cramps in my hands trying to balance it manually. This is my second take on the topic, ([v1](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5139368)) V2 is more lightweight and flexible. It makes better use of it's core geometry - a triangle - providing 2 different angles at which the laptop is held up. And it prints much faster. Slicing it with 3 perimeters 5% infill is enough. I used the auto-speed option setting all individual speeds to 0 and max speed to 160 and each side took like 100 minutes while the crossbar took another 30 min. You ‘ll need two sides and while the crossbar is not really needed it makes the thing more practical so it’s recommended.
