Macbook/Laptop Stands (Customizable)

Two designs of simple laptop stand. They print as one piece lying on the side, no supports required. The cantilever version has a spar at the back and is plenty strong enough to take the weight of a 16" Macbook Pro, but it is a bit bouncy with that much weight on it. If you are a heavy typer, or you live on a boat, you might be better off with the closed loop version. I've made them with and without raised contact pads under the laptop. If your laptop has a fan intake on the bottom, you probably want to print it with the pads, or stick some of your own on. I've included the Fusion 360 so you can customize these. They are reasonably well parameterized, but its always good to check the geometry after making any changes. If you want a wider stand you can just scale the whole thing up, or change the "width" parameter in the Fusion 360 file. I suggest printing the cantilever version with 3 perimeters and 25% grid infill. The closed loop version doesn't need that much infill.
