This was inspired by a design by Twelve South, which I printed and used for a year before I stepped on it and broke it. I used it on a carpet floor, and it was never stable enough with the computer in it. I got a larger printer recently, designed an arched base, and now it is super strong AND super stable. And it looks good. The Macbook Pro slot width as designed is 18.2mm, change scale for any other computer. The Macbook Air slotwidth is 12mm. Print Settings Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: TAZ 6 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: medium Infill: 25% Notes: Printed in HIPS at 245C extruder, 105C bed, 3 top, 3 bottom, 4 shell layers. I used 25% infill, and started cooling at 40% on layer 2. Same settings but don’t cool for ABS. It has a small footprint, so bed warping is not a problem.
