My favorite coffee cups and my personal cup holder. Bodum Pavina Double Wall Tumbler - 8 oz and the Machine-Flower. This design incorporates the mechanization and the organic curvature possible with additive manufacturing. The flower and the gear cradle your caffeine in a safe embrace, for when you are able to put down the tools or the mouse and take a sip. Suggest gluing or double sided tape securing a Machine flower in areas spilling is a bit more of a disaster than others. Soldering station, anywhere near electronics, are not good places to spill the coffee. These holders can be used as free roaming artistic kitchenware or as secured cup holders for high risk situations. They stack well, wash well if printed with enough infill to use everyday, I think I used something like 50%. I hope you enjoy them! A camera and a image editor are good tools for matching curvature between the real world and your CAD software. Use a thin slice of the model to verify curvature matching with a quick to print prototype of only the area you need to check. Never settle for 'whatever' get the shape and structure you intended, even if you have to step back from frustration and try again in the morning. Happy designing y'all :o)
