[Seems the only way I can add the STLs for the two parts I mentioned in my "I Made One" entry for reddadsteve's Mad Hatter is to do a remix. Note that the only "remixing" I'vew done is to glue a valentine-heart to the existing, unchanged teapot.] Here's a cut/paste of the relevant text in the Summary from my make: Just for fun, I added a Queen-of-Hearts valentine-heart, to the teapot. I'm not sure where the Hatter managed to get a set of the Queen's tea service, but he was always a bit sneaky. To get the flat heart to conform to the sides of the pot, I made a relief of the side of the pot to use as a form/clamp - see red block in photo. I positioned and attached the heart to the teapot with a single drop of tacky glue in the middle. After the glue had set up (but not cured), I used a heat gun to warm up the heart (not too warm; if it sags, that's way too much) then pressed down tightly with the clamp for about 10 seconds or so. The result was a very tight fit of the heart to the curved contour of the teapot. I've attached the files for the heart and the form/clamp, if anyone is interested. Print several hearts at once - you'll likely want to practice. You could even print a bunch of the hearts and use them as confetti next Feb 14th !
