That model was maybe the most important in my whole contest, even if it’s not the cleanest. As always, it’s a model that i used for a lighting design project, for the big event Giubileo della Luce of ANCI. You could see the final realization here, scrolling down the page That model was obtained from around 116 pictures obtained by the DJI Spark, 63 obtained from my G80, and 516 full-hd screenshots obtained by a clip. I did a deep analysis to obtain a huge model, around 20 million polygons. Then i decimated the whole model to a 5 million polygons, to make it more navigable. Lately i select the flat surfaces, roof and walls, just to do a topology’s optimization ( to make it more flat, because i could obtain that amount of detail just with a good normal map). I choose for this contest to not enlight this site in Skecthfab, because of the 28 light we designed for the original project.
