This is a protective cover for the magazine of the Novritsch SSG24 airsoft sniper rifle. I heard that if some dirt gets into the magazine it is very difficult to remove it. That part protects the magazine against dirt from five sides. The magazine can be removed from the protective cover in the same way as it is removed from the magazine slot of the rifle.
