NOTE: The full organizer as it currently exists has a few requirements! You would need __48 small round disc magnets__ (5mm dia, 1.6mm height). Getting all pieces at equal heights as pictured requires __constructing or printing additional components__. Additionally, the hero boxes __require sleeved cards__ to hold pieces securely. This is my take on an organizer for Mage Knight Ultimate Edition. It's designed to fit in the original box, assist in quick setup and teardown, and __with additional components or constructions__ can support vertical storage very well due to the lids on each tray and box. I'm including the Fusion 360 file, but it's honestly a little bit of an organizational disaster. Apologies. The whole organizer was designed to comfortably fit 60 micron card sleeves (outer size 65.5mm x 91mm, Sleeve Kings standard) but there should be enough space to accommodate somewhat thicker ones. The printed pieces fill the horizontal space in the box, but each piece is only as tall as it needs to be to hold what it needs to hold. To actually fill the box as in the image, you would need risers of some kind. I constructed these risers out of foamcore (foam board), which allows them to be much lighter than printed plastic would be. I included a picture of what those risers look like in the box. Where possible, I tried to use as little plastic as I thought I could get away with. However, even with relatively thin walls and low infill, I still used almost 1.2kg of filament. Be prepared. __Layout:__ For layout in the box, see the picture. Some parts are not visible. * The Hero Boxes and Bank Trays are two deep. * The Misc Token Trays is also underneath one of the Hero Boxes (4 across, 2 deep, there are seven heroes and one misc tray) * The optional Faction Monster Token Tray is underneath the main Monster Token Tray in my box, but it could go anywhere. __Lids:__ All of the components other than the deck holders have lids. Some are magnetic, some slide on "rails". In general, I put sliding lids on parts that I expect to regularly remove from the box, and magnetic lids on parts that stay in the box. I would say that the magnetic lids could be considered optional, but I would recommend against skipping the sliding ones. The sliding lids (currently) have 0.25mm clearance on the "rails", which worked best for me in terms of providing enough resistance to stay on but not enough to break anything. I did have to file down some cornering bumps to get many of them to fit, but that's going to depend on your printer. The magnetic lids need disc magnets glued into holes on the parts. The magnets should be 5mm diameter, 1.6-1.8mm height. I use these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078BGGYH8/ (They say 2mm, but the ones I received in Jan 2020 are absolutely 1.6.). Note that the holes in the lids are on the *top*. After much testing, I've found this setup to work the best with thin lids. __Components:__ Print 1 of each, other than Hero Box (print 7) and Hero Box Lid (print 8). - __Hero Box__ + Lid Hold all tokens (skills, level tokens, shields and turn order) and cards (hero card, skill cards, basic actions) for a single hero. Shield tokens and turn order markers go in the bin. Requires sleeved cards to securely hold the tokens in place, unsleeved cards aren't thick enough. Sliding lids. - __Deck Holder 1 and 2__ Holds all cards other than the hero-specific ones. "Label" icons are embossed next to the slots. I'm not an artist, so I apologize. Holder 2 has slots for Wounds, Artifacts, Spells, and Advanced Actions. Holder 1 has slots for Elite Units, Regular Units, Tactics, and everything else (mostly the location cards, and the icon is supposed to look like a building). As noted, designed to accommodate all cards with 60 micron sleeves, but can likely fit slightly thicker ones. No lid! - __Monster Token Tray__ + Lid Holds all the round monster tokens and hex ruins tokens in the game. Finger holes for easy lifting. Letters on the bottoms of the monster slots indicate the color that goes in that slot. Two slots for green. Magnetic lid. - __Faction Token Tray__ + Lid Optional, but recommended. Fits all the Tezla faction monster tiles, separated by faction. These can fit in the main tray, but if you are playing a faction scenario, you need them separated. If you aren't playing a faction scenario, you may not want to play with them at all. Magnetic lid. - __Bank Tray 1 and 2__ + Lids Hold crystals and dice. Sliding lids. Lid 2 has a window so you can see the dice (and save a tiny bit of filament) but the lids are otherwise identical and you can just print two windowless ones if you prefer. - __Map Tile Tray + Lid__ Holds all the map tiles, simple. A little flimsy given the weight of the tiles, sorry. Magnetic lid. - __Large Token Tray__ + Lid Holds all tiles related to expansion leaders. Magnetic lid. - __Mini Box__ + Lid Slots for each of the character minis. Mighty Goldyx gets the slot off to the side. Krang (barely) fits wherever you want if you position him right. Some minis may need to be rotated a certain way to fit, either to get the base into the slot or to get their extremities to fit in the box interior. There's a lot of variation on the minis in my box, so I allow a healthy amount of space for the bases. Magnetic lid. - __Clix Mini Box__ + Lid Holds the five minis with Clix bases. (Four cities + Volkare). Cities go in side-on, Volkare goes in with his sword arm towards the top. Magnetic lid. __Future Improvements:__ I need a bit of a break from this one for the moment, but I do plan to come back and make some improvements. Hopefully that will at least include some better lid options, but I have some other thoughts as well.
