Here are stackable counters designed for Magic: The Gathering. There are Faced counters, which illustrate things like life, power, toughness, mana, loyalty, energy, abilities, etc; and there are Basic counters, which are stacked under Faced counters. For example, let's say you want to add 3 Energy. You take a Faced Energy counter and place 2 Basic counters underneath it. This way, you only need a few Faced, and you can use the Basics to add +1 to all sorts of things. Faced counters include: Mana (Swamp/Black, Plains/White, Mountain/Red, Forest/Green, Island/Blue, Colorless) Loyalty, Experience, Energy, Charge, Time, and Poison Power/Toughness (Power, Toughness, and P/T [+1/+1]) Negative (to turn Power and Toughness into negative values. [-1/-1]) Keyword Abilities (Flying, Trample, Haste, First Strike, Reach, Menace, Lifelink, Hexproof, Indestructible, and Vigilance.) Amonkhet Series (Treasure, Brick, Exert, and Embalm) Life (5 and 1). Used in conjunction to track player life. To begin a game with 20 life, take a "5" counter and place two basics underneath it. Take a "1" counter and place four basics underneath it. When stacking Basics under Faced counters, I recommending using different colors, so it's easier to count how many are in the stack. How to tap: I find the best method to tap is to simply turn the counters upside down. In the case of needing to only tap part of a stack, separate the number of counters that are tapped and turn those upside down. Leave the remainder of the stack with the Faced counter still upright next to the tapped portion. The half-counter is to be used with the P/T counter. Use the half in conjunction with basics to illustrate different values for Power and Toughness. For example, if you want to show a +3/+2, put one basic and one half counter under a P/T counter, with the larger side of the half counter under the Power side. Feel free to use these files to make your own counters. Tag your creations with #MtGCounters and list as a Remix of this thing. UPDATED 5-3-2019: Alternate +1/+1 and -1/-1 tokens now available! See pictures. New versions are named MtGCounterNeg1Neg1.stl and MtGCounterPlus1Plus1.stl. I also made some minor tweaks to make the counters look better for 2 color printing. Use layer height of 0.2mm and set your second color to start at the 14th layer. Update 4/22/2019 -- Treasure, Brick, Exert, and Embalm tokens released! Treasure can also be used as Gold. All are primarily for the Amonkhet set. Update 1/22/2017 -- Creature tokens released! Now you can combine three counters into a token creature. For example, you can make a +2/+2 Red Mana creature with Flying and Trample or a +1/+2 Green Mana creature with Deathtouch. Check my other designs for the new tokens. Update 12/22/2016 -- Expansion pack 1 released! New counters include Negative Marker, Charge, Experience, Poison, Prowess, Time, Defender, Doublestrike, and Deathtouch. New counters are included below, but If you JUST want the new ones, go here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1988616 I also made improved versions of the Life Counters as well as minor improvements to Flying, Trample, Reach, Haste, Power, and Toughness.
