Magic Tokens and Token Vault

Magic Tokens and Token Vault

I wanted some showy but compact tokens to use for my cube and EDH decks, so I designed and printed these. The regular token vault box can hold 12 tokens. The token vault XL can hold 40. I found that I needed to ever so slightly sand the "locking" mechanism area to make it easier to open and close, but I've been able to jostle them around pretty vigorously and not have them pop open. I printed these with a 0.4 mm nozzle at 0.2 mm layer height. I set a pause at layer 16 in Cura to swap filaments in order to get the two-color design. The regular box took about 4 hours to print and the XL box took 10 at 50 mm/s. The print should be down with the bottom and top of the box facing down flat. If you have any requests for a particular token, I can probably throw something together. This is my first really functional design and I'm still pretty regularly playing around with it. If you end up printing these and have any feedback, please let me know. Update: February 20th, 2019 - I added a new version of the token vault "V12" that has a different kind of latching mechanism. I was finding that my other design was getting more loose as I opened and closed it enough times, so I tried a new design that I think will last longer and hold out better. It does take a little bit of extra time and plastic over the previous version, but not significantly. Update: April 17th, 2019 - For the upcoming set I have added a zombie army 0/0 token! Update: August 31st, 2019 - Added a template token and a 2/2 morph token. Update: March 11th, 2020 - Added 3/3 wurm tokens (one for lifelink, one for deathtouch), an egg token, and a 4/4 zombie warrior token.
