Magne-tach Fidget Spinner

thingiverse

Magnetic fidget spinner using magnets to show the speed of the spinner. As the rotational speed increases, the magnets move further from the center bearing which can be used to gauge the speed. Use the following: 1 - [ceramic 608 bearing*](http://amzn.to/2qAEBie): the bearing needs to be non-magnetic otherwise the magnets will stick to the bearing and add a lot of drag. 4 - [10mm x 8mm cylinder magnets*](https://www.banggood.com/5pcs-N35-Strong-Round-Disc-Magnets-Rare-Earth-Neodymium-10mm-x-8mm-p-960772.html?p=EY011634303112016018): other lengths may work too. Be careful with these, they're quite strong and somewhat brittle. 4 - [6mm x 3mm cylinder magnets*](https://www.banggood.com/30pcs-N52-Super-Strong-Cylinder-Magnets-6mm-x-3mm-Rare-Earth-Neodymium-Magnets-p-977358.html?p=EY011634303112016018): these go into the ends of the spinner and need to be installed to oppose the larger magnets. Printed in Filamentum [Vertigo Gray*](http://amzn.to/2rfsuvK) (donated by [Prusa Research](http://www.prusa3d.com/)). **affiliate links*
