Magnetic Bead Tube Holder

This is the cheap alternative to buying the original magnetic bead tube holder. (1/1000 of the price). For this model you will need a round magnet with 16 mm diameter. Or you use the step file and change the slot for the magnet yourself, eventually also extend it to carry more tubes and magnets? You don´t know what that thing even is? In molecular biology we sometimes use magnetic beads (very small metal balls) that are floating in water - to bind molecules of interest (DNA, proteins). To wash the beads you need exchange the water, but you want the beads to stay in your tube. The magnet holds the magnetic beads on the side of the tube (that takes a minute or two, see picture.)
