Magnetic Cable Strain Relief

Magnetic Cable Strain Relief

I bought a b0xx controller for Smash Brothers and saw some people complain about USB port issues so I wanted to get ahead of the problem. Doing this with adhesives would have worked but I wanted a less messy/semi-permanent option so I designed a magnetic cable strain relief. It took 4 or 5 revs but this seems to work well for my needs. There is a smooth version and one with some small grips in the cable area. Originally the design was going to lay flat like how it's printed but it could cause the piece to slide around on the attached surface. The snapping function was mostly a happy accident and resembles more common cable strain relief designs. These are the magnets I used: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075Q9R5F7
