Magnetic Desk Bowl Holder

I wanted to figure out a way to eat my morning Oatmeal at my desk without having to rearrange everything. Behold! The Magnetic Desk Bowl Holder [*] was created! This is quite the custom build and I'd be surprised if it would be useful for anyone, but here we are. My desk is a Metal office desk with a 3M Gel Wrist Rest [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0013CB332] residing at the edge. Because the desk is metal, I decided to utilize some 10MM x 3MM magnets [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MFHNHNW] for keeping the holder in place during breakfast [**]. I also ended up topping the holder with a layer of neoprene [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BKP6KFX] for anti-slip purposes, but I found that the contact cement used to hold down the neoprene can reactivate if you have a hot bowl/plate on the surface; so be warned.
