The door handles are designed for the lack enclosure v2 (Prusa MK3S-MMU2S). Magnets are integrated in the handles to keep the doors closed and aligned.

On my print out I added a name on top of the handles. The files come with a plane surface, so you can add your own name if you like.

I provide a drilling template which assists you during drilling the holes into the acryl glass. I recommend using a 4 mm drill and a drill press.

Building instruction

For 2 door handles you need:

Parts:
12 x M3x8 screw
12 x M3 nut
8 x Magnet (20 x 6 x 1.5 mm, neodym)

3D printed parts:
2 x Left-Front
2 x Left-Back
2 x Right-Front
2 x Right-Back
1 x Drilling_template

Construction:
Print out the 3D parts, see printing instructions.
Drill the holes into the acryl glass by using the drilling template. In my enclosure I placed the door handles 8 cm from top and bottom of the arcyl glass, so that there is no contact with the printer. I recommend using a 4 mm drill and a drill press.
Press a magnet into the holes of all 3D printed parts.
Insert the nuts in into the holes of Left-Back and Right-Back.
Place a magnet into the cavity of Left-Front. Check the orientation of the magnet. It should be attracted by the magnet in the hole of Right-Back. Secure Left-Front with Left-Back and the M3 screws on the opposite side of the acryl glass.
Place a magnet into the cavity of Right-Back. Check the orientation of the magnet. It should be attracted by the magnet in the hole of Left-Front. Secure Right-Back with Right-Front and the M3 screws on the opposite side of the acryl glass.
Due to the tolerances you might have to align all parts.

Print instructions

Printed in PETG with standard Prusament settings on Prusa MK3S printer

Slicing settings:

Infill
15 %

Supports
No supports

Brim
No brim

Print settings:

Filament
Prusament PETG

Nozzle
0.4 mm

Layer thickness
0.2 mm

Temperatures
Extruder: 250 °C (1st layer 240 °C)
Bed: 90 °C (1st layer 85 °C)
