Magnetic Drawer Lock

Magnetic Drawer Lock

When my daughter was like 6 months old I quickly realised she should not be able to open every drawer in the house. The childlocks I found were visible, which was only question of time when she will figure it out. So I came with this simple sliding magnetic lock. I used 3M double sided scotch tape on drawer as well as for the "stop" L shaped block. The hole in slider is made for 10x5 mm magnet. Assembly: Put slider into the magnet case and then insert the magnet into the slider which locks the slider in the case. Works very well so far and even though my little one figured there is a lock (she is quite older now) she is not able to open the drawer as the pawn is out of the reach. Best thing about it is, noone have to see the locks and the drawers looks "normal".
