I got tired of slipping hoses on and off tools with hose clamps. These magnetic couplings screw into the coil type dust collection hose without the need of a clamp. The magnets hold firm and are quick to connect. Use the "hose end" part for the hose you move from tool to tool. Glue the alignment ring into the recess with the taper facing out. When you glue the magnets in, be sure they are oriented in the proper direction to connect the two couplings together.
