Magnetic hex bit ratchet screwdriver

Magnetic hex bit ratchet screwdriver

thingiverse

This Thing is a couple of substitute parts for Cleven's ratcheting socket wrench. Use these parts to make a ratcheting right-angle magnetic screwdriver instead of a socket wrench. The tool accepts any 1/4" hex bit, and there is room for a small magnet inside each part -- insert the magnet in the same hole where the hex bit would go. Use superglue to attach the magnet to the bottom of the inside of the part. You'll need to download some parts from the original socket wrench: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:455507/ Substitute the original "Part 2" and "Part 3" with the parts in this Thing. For the magnets, use 6mm x 1.5mm neodymium magnets. Search eBay for "6mm x 1.5mm rare earth magnets"
