I've crated a travel game of Nine men's morris (German: Mühle) for a colleague. The dimensions of the board are 180 x 180 x 5 mm. You will need at least 24 pieces (42 pcs. if you want to include the pawns) of neodym magnets size Ø10 x 2 mm (about 7€ from Amazon). If you dont want to use this much magnets you can use washers in the pawns as well As a small extra I've added a 60 x 60 mm Tic-Tac-Tog game board for the same pawns. Fusion 360 files available upon request
