Requires: - 8mm x 3mm magnets (x2 or x4) - 3mm x 20mm machine screw (x2) Inspired by many of the other designs out there, I created this one to fit 8mm x 3mm magnets I had on hand, added an angle to match the paddle shifter surface for crisper action, and a few features to dress it up. - Screws thread directly into material - switch to 25mm long screws if nuts are preferred. I find there's plenty of retention without them. - Use a tiny amount of CA glue or E6000 to secure magnets in part. - Install magnets with the same pole facing out for highest breakaway force. - Add electrical tape or padding of your choice to reduce the metal on metal noise when you release the shifters.
