Magnetic Peephole Cover

Magnetic Peephole Cover

TLDR: Its a peephole cover that should fit over and has some spots to fit some magnets on the base. It also uses the same type of magnets to hold the sliding cover in the up position. The fit between parts is a little tight. My apartment complex installed news doors and I though the electrical tape I had covering the peephole on the old door was a little trashy. I searched peephole cover here and just found some plug like things. Then went on google to get some ideas. The cover is pretty simple, fits over the metal part of the peep hole and has a bit that slides up and down. Both pieces have holes cut out for some 1 mm thick, 5 mm diameter magnets. The magnets on the back of the base help hold everything on the door, if the door is magnetic. The magnet on the face of the base and the cover line up to hold the cover up while looking through the peep hole.
