NOTE: Requires Scosche MagicMount Surface (~$10-15 at WalMart, Fry's, etc) Designed to clip to the vent of your Mazda3 (tested on 2009 model year). Works with most smart phones. Angled 15 degrees towards the driver. Solid enough you can press iPhone home and power buttons without any movement. Instructions Just print and attach the self-adhering Scosche MagicMount. Top of the clip goes over the topmost vent slat; the bottom goes under the lowest. When clipping to the vent, I've had the best luck clipping the top slat first. The clip can deflect pretty far if you're using ABS; don't worry too much about breaking it. If it slides too easily, add some hot glue to the inner corners of the clip (where it contacts the vent slats; see photo) for additional grip. Just be sparing; it gets hot enough in the summers here that the glue may remelt and bond to the vent slats.
