<p>I saw this idea a wile back on thingiverse, printed them out and tried to use them but the problem they were comming undone by walking, one piece would slide out of the other, so I had to wear zip ties for a while in addition, but that was a lame idea. So I redesigned these from the ground up with magnets.</p> <p>Six 8mm by 3mm magnets are under the straps holding them together. Now you can run or go about your day with a quick release mechanism for your laced shoes.</p> <p>set the magnets in with glue, so they won't come out.</p> <p>and be sure the magnets are flipped to correct polarity before you set them in</p> <p>otherwise they will repel not attract.</p> <p>Printed in PETG, PLA will do as well.</p> <p>When your print settings are right tolerances should be perfect.</p> <p>added revised version for square 5x5x5mm magnets, better grip.</p> Category: Fashion
