I designed this after learning that the original used 0.5 in diameter by 3/16th of an inch thick neodymium disc magnets. Thats great, but after looking everywhere I learned that the only place I could find that sold that kind of magnet was adafruit and it would be around $20 CAD to ship them. I gave up and just redesigned the model. I was going to make a customizer app but I learned that I need to use OpenSCAD which is really hard so Im not going to do that for now. They work fine but the magnets aren't actually that strong so I'm working on another model using better shaped magnets, stay tuned for the next generation and for the customizable design when I learn how OpenSCAD works. Update: I made a model for 30x4x10mm bar magnets which is actually strong enough to work! its not a very tight fit so glue the magnets in place. These should help!
