I repair electronics a lot and wanted a sectioned magnetic parts tray that was not metal for ESD safety reasons. I bought some magnets off Amazon and press fit them into the bottom of the tray. I made a cover for the bottom to help the magnets not pick stuff up on the table like bits of solder and washers. I made a press fit and glue on bottom. The magnets are 18 mm DIameter x 5 mm Height.
