The magnets fit into the insets snugly, but I added a touch of superglue to assure they stayed put. Designed specifically for the Husky 8-piece 1/4" drive Hex Socket Set #H4DMMHEX8PC Magnets were 5/16" dia x 1/8" high Rare Earth from Harbour Freight #67488/98371
