Magnetic studio strobe light modifier and gel holder

I decided to design some easy to use light modifiers for my studio lights. These will work with any light with a standard 7in reflector. These use 0.125in magnets as the attachment mechanism, which are press-fit into the square holes around the outside rim. The holes are tight, so I used a small pair of channel-lock style adjustable pliers to squeeze them in. gobo-mount.stl is the main mounting part which slips and clips onto the 7in strobe reflector, and to which the rest of the parts magnetically attach. You will want to use supports on this part, so that the overhang which attaches the mount to the reflector prints properly. gobo-frame.stl is the outside frame for the actual light modifiers. By default, it is 0.125in thick, but you can easily scale it in the Z axis to make it as thick or thin as you want. I print this with 2 perimeters, at a 0.25mm layer height, 20% infill, 2 top and 2 bottom layers. This can be printed on its own to create a simple magnetic gel holder. gobo-honeycomb.stl is the inner portion of the light modifier. This is modeled as a solid disk, so it will need to be printed in a separate process (I use simplify3d, refer to your slicers documentation.) This is where the magic happens for the light modifiers. Set 0 top and bottom layers, 1 perimeter, honeycomb infill, and by varying the infill percentage, you will get different sizes of honeycomb. Higher infill percentage means less spread on the light. This needs to be printed at the same time as the frame so they will bond together. Make sure the honeycomb and frame are in the same X and Y position on the bed. This can also be scaled in the Z direction along with the frame to make it as thick or as thin as needed. You can also scale this part down in the Z axis to only 2-3 layers thick and print in a white/translucent filament, while keeping the frame the same thickness (to hold the magnets) to create a diffuser. Some improvements I plan to make in the future include adding a hole for the umbrella holder on my neewer strobes, as well as making the mount print without the need for support material.
