Magnetic Tape Roll Holder

INFO: Because I need a lot of tape at work, and don't want to run around all the time searching and getting it, I designed a tape holder which snaps onto a clip with magnets. The clip itself stays on my pants. The tape holder will also snap onto metal, so you can attach it onto your machine, car, rack etc... You can use 1x big roll, or even 2x small rolls next to eachother (example: if you need different colors) HOW TO: 1st option: Add 7 strong magnets (10x4mm) in the clip and holder. Alternate the + and - (see picture)! Glue the caps on top. Now you can put the clip into your back pocket, and the holder will snap onto your pants. To 'detach', just push the holder downward... 2nd option: Add 6 strong magnets (10x4mm) in the clip and holder. Alternate the + and - (see picture)! Leave the middle space blank, and drill a little hole. Now use a bolt and nut to attach a clip holder (get one from a broken tape measure or something...). Make sure the clip can still turn around on the bolt (when the magnet clip can turn around, the tape holder will attach much easier and position automatically). Glue the bolt into the middle hole, and glue the caps on top. Now you're able to attach the clip onto your pants. The tape holder will snap very nicely onto the clip. To 'detach', just push the tape holder downward... EXTRA: The clip works very good, it's pretty strong and doesn't fall off. Only falls off automatically when I really run. So I learned to hold my hand onto the tape holder when I start running ;)
