Magnetic whiteboard marker sleeve

Magnetic whiteboard marker sleeve

I wanted to make a marker holder of sorts and figured that it is always somewhat annoying having to reach for a box somewhere around the board. So instead I decided to put a magnet in a sleeve wrapping the marker so I can just leave them laying around as I would on a table. The sleeve is for Pilot Board Master refillable markers that have conical shape allowing the sleeve to be put on and tightened by itself. Magnets I used are neodymium 2x4 cylinders (one is enough but with two the marker keeps orientation). No glue necessary. The magnets are kept in by line of electrical tape that is held in place by the tension between the marker and the sleeve. I had to use the tape as printing horizontally resulted in bad prints (then it would be possible to have reasonably good 0.1 layer), and vertically I'd be stuck with minimum 0.3 wall reducing strength of the magnets too much to hold properly. Printed this with 0.4 nozzle at 0.1 layer.
