Magnetmotor
thingiverse
This topic has been on my mind for a long time and there are many suggestions out there, like on YouTube, where many people say that's not possible, citing the energy conservation law. Maybe they're right, but I don't consider it impossible to build a motor that runs only on permanent magnets. I've tried this before and unfortunately, it didn't work. I used Neodymium magnets, D6mm by H3mm in size. The gears can be fitted using a Lego axis in the magnet motor frame, and the magnets are inserted radially repulsing. There's also a small slot in the frame for a strip steel sheet to use as shielding. I've attached the files in FreeCAD format if anyone wants to optimize or develop this further. If you know how it works, I'm all ears!
With this file you will be able to print Magnetmotor with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Magnetmotor.
