Magpie in flight
thingiverse
Note: This model is NOT to scale. If you want it to be actual size, scale every part up by around 150% or so. This is my second magpie model. It prints as seven parts. The patches should be white and everything else black. The white feather patches (not shown) will need to be painted as the model is too thin to utilize separate pieces. Keep in mind that these parts are not the easiest to print. The wing parts on the body need extra support, and the wing tips may not come out smooth due to their thinness. It is important to print slowly for the best result. I will be primer/wet-sanding/spray painting my model for the best finish but you could just print the pieces in their appropriate colors and assemble if you wish. I will post a picture when it is finished. I'm not sure if I will continue making models. I am not an experienced modeler by any means, just wanted to try something new.
