Magsafe 2 connector cable support. It is designed to keep the cable at right angles to the power connector. The power cable starts to go out of alignment eventually and then doesnt work. I have now bought a 2nd power brick etc but the new one started also to fail at the same place. I couldnt find anthing else suitable so deisgned this item. A cable/zip tie is needed. I have redesigned the cable grip again and extended it to enclose the charging tip entirely and have narrowed the central opening so that the cable is held in place without the cable/zip tie. I also let the top and bottom recesses for the zip tie in just a little more. If the charging tip is snug, it can be used without the cable tie. I pushed my charging tip in after cleaning the supports out. Since my over hang didn’t print properly, it is a very snug fit and I will only be able to get the tip out by breaking the cable grip. I did print this at .1 but broke it getting the supports out. Actually though broken the over hang was perfectly printed and a perfect fit for the tip. I’m using a 1mm nozzle for this print. The first version uses 3g of filament and the 2nd 4g. Both take roughly 11mins to print at .2. Its a good use for end of rolls etc. I have included both STLs.
