This is a remix from a thingiverse thing 4659714.

I needed an iPhone mount for my Wahoo Kickr/Zwift sessions. Something that would be easy to secure/remove the iPhone. Found this puch and merged it with a GoPro-style mount.

I found that everyone wanted one of these after they saw my print. So, I found a tripod and an extension. I cannot find the original URLs for those. I'd like to cite them properly. If you know who made it, I'll cite them.

Best to use PETG. Use supports. Print with the magnet face down on the bed.

Buy 5mm x 5mm magnet squares.

Instructions from iPhone Mag Mount puck for car mounting by MrScottFletcher:
Determine magnetic pole orientation
I found it helpful to use a magnetic viewing file to locate the mag ring on the back of my phone. Place a single cube magnet on the ring and slide it around the ring. It should slide easily without flipping, and the 'proper' face should naturally/automatically turn to point towards the center as you rotate the cube around the ring. ALL of the magnets on your mount need to be oriented the same way; all of the same poles should point towards the center, the same as this test cube.
Stacking magnets for placement:
Using your "guide" magnet throughout the process (on which you marked the inner face), add magnets to the marked face so that you have a stack of them connected. The inner face is the one you marked in the first step.
If you connected the magnets correctly, you cannot see your guide magnet's marked/inner face because your new magnets are attached to it.
Without needing to understand magnetic polarity any further, orient the stack so that your guide magnet's marked/inner face is pointing towards the center of the mount.
Sliding magnets into the holes:
Next, slide a new magnet down into the hole, sliding it off of your stack. (Sliding the last magnet off the stack and into the hole should expose your marked face on your guide magnet.) Move the stack of magnets away from the mount so that your newly-placed magnet does not jump out of its hole. These magnets are strong. :)
Tips For placing new magnets:
Keep a watchful eye on your newly-place magnets as you slide them into each hole to ensure they don't flip or change orientation. It can happen fast.
if your newly-placed magnets are jumping out of their holes while you are placing other magnets around the ring, you can try adding a small drop of CA/Super Glue on each after they are placed.
