MagSafe iPhone Charging Cradle for Tesla Model S

MagSafe iPhone Charging Cradle for Tesla Model S

This is an upgrade to my earlier post of a [charging cradle for Tesla Model S](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4128559) that utilized the Lightning cable. This one uses MagSafe instead, which makes it a lot more convenient and also holds the phone in place much better during hard acceleration (a frequent occurrence in a Model S!) This cradle fits in the center console in the spot design for phone charging. You first need to remove the charging plug if one is installed. The cradle should be attached to the console using BlueTak. This holds it very securely yet allows for easy removal if needed. The cradle was designed to fit an iPhone 13 Pro Max, which is the largest current iPhone, so it should accommodate any iPhone MagSafe model. Note that if you are using a case on your phone, it needs to have MagSafe; the phone will fall off if a non-Magsafe or thick case is used. There are two required accessories: 1. A [Tozo W6 wireless charger](https://smile.amazon.com/TOZO-Wireless-Compatible-Numerical-Technology/dp/B08QZFL6N7). This adapter fits in the cradle with a friction fit and at just the right depth to capture the magnetic ring on the iPhone. 2. An [Anope USB-C lighter socket adapter](https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B089R67JV4?psc=1). While you can just use the USB-A ports in the Model S, charging will be slowed since the USB port is limited to 500ma. This adapter will deliver 15W to the W6, which is the max charging rate. Finally, the adapter will not prevent the lid from being folded down, as long as the cradle is empty, of course ;-)
